The challenge
A regional digital banking platform had migrated from Universal Analytics to GA4 but was collecting nearly unusable data — event names were inconsistent, key conversion events were missing, and the sales team had no reliable funnel data to act on.
What I did
- Audited the existing GA4 property and identified 40+ redundant or misfired events
- Redesigned the full event taxonomy and data layer schema from scratch
- Rebuilt the GTM container with governance rules and a naming convention guide
- Defined a measurement plan aligned to product KPIs: account opens, deposit events, and onboarding completion
