The challenge
A Fortune 100 global healthcare company ran a web platform across 38+ country markets on Adobe Experience Manager. Country teams operated independently with inconsistent page structures, uncontrolled asset use, and no shared publishing standard — resulting in off-brand content, compliance risks, and delays that stretched minor updates to weeks. Operations spanned multiple timezones, requiring round-the-clock coordination between regional editors, brand teams, legal reviewers, and digital leads.
What I did
- Authored and managed 100,000+ pages across global AEM instances, maintaining quality and consistency at scale
- Mapped stakeholder roles across 38+ country and regional teams across multiple timezones to define authoring responsibilities and escalation paths
- Designed and documented AEM authoring standards, component usage guides, and publishing checklists adopted globally
- Implemented structured multi-stage publishing workflows with mandatory review and legal approval gates for regulated healthcare content
- Consolidated DAM taxonomy and metadata schema to reduce redundant assets and accelerate content reuse across markets
- Ran training and onboarding for country editors to ensure consistent, compliant authoring practices at scale
- Introduced editable template governance to prevent regional teams from breaking global page structure
"Having a single person who could bridge the gap between the global brand standards and what 38 country teams needed day-to-day made a measurable difference to how we shipped content."

Why me
AEM authoring at global enterprise scale
Most AEM practitioners work within a single market or a handful of locales. Very few have authored over 100,000 pages and coordinated publishing governance across 38 country teams simultaneously — each with their own brand requirements, legal constraints, language nuances, and stakeholder hierarchies.
I've done exactly that — twice. I've worked with two global healthcare companies, one of them a Fortune 100 enterprise, operating across multiple timezones as the connective layer between global digital platform teams and country-level stakeholders: building authoring standards, designing workflows, managing DAM taxonomy, and ensuring that 38 markets could publish consistently without breaking the global site structure.
This isn't just authoring knowledge — it's the real-world, cross-timezone, multi-stakeholder operational experience to run AEM at a scale where one misconfigured live copy or a missed approval gate creates real business impact.
